Massive Attack

It’s good to have the trip-hop pioneers back. Their new offering Heligoland doesn’t quite live up to any of the band's previous masterpieces such as Blue Lines or Mezzanine; not even a roll call of collaborative partners which includes TV on the Radio’s Tunde Adebimpe, Elbow’s Guy Garvey, Martina Topley-Bird and Damon Albarn can save it from mediocrity. So the real draw tonight will be Massive Attack's impressive back catalogue.
