This stonking three-disc box set serves as a reminder that there was more to ’80s electro than Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet and the Human League. There was also Was (Not Was), The Sugarhill Gang and, er, the Human League. Oh well, so 12” 80s Electro: Pop isn’t as
out there as we hoped and the 12-inch format is better suited to, say, Frankie Goes To Hollywood’s Relax than New Order’s Confusion but an enjoyable nostalgia trip all the same.
