13 Assassins

An astonishing, extended battlescene ensures that Takashi Miike’s drama – about a band of warriors going up against a dark lord and his army of samurai – is a must-see on the big screen. Despite the fact that roughly half the film is pure carnage, it still has decent character development and compelling performances.
