This basement club is an old fave and offers a varied programme of live music and DJs, hosting everything from reggae and ska to beloved indie night Death2Disco. Scruffy but cool.

The Castle

A colourful crowd tends to congregate in this gem of a pub on Portobello Road, which serves craft beers and cask ales alongside an eclectic mix of live music. Sits opposite the blue door from that movie.

Trailer Happiness

Unselfconscious cocktail bar with inventive takes on rum-heavy blends (Mr Yellow Belly mixes Wray & Nephew with lime, jerk and tamarind syrup, £8). They call them “exceptional drinks with a tiki twist”.
