How did you get into your line of work?

I’ve worked in the insurance and financial services markets for over 20 years. I moved to Sydney to help set up and develop WorldNomads.com back in 2002 and have recently retuned to the UK.

What do you do day-to-day?

I manage our vast network of partnerships over EMEA, developing new relationships and supporting old.

What’s the most exciting part of your role?

Meeting new people & businesses in the constantly evolving landscape of global travel.

How the impact of CSR has had a huge success on our bottom line, demonstrating to our customers our ethics and brand values.

What type of companies/individuals will find your talk relevant?

Any business with an eCommerce patform, that’s looking for a fresh and exciting way to integrate CSR into their business, without having to spend thousands of re-inventing the wheel.

How will they benefit from it?


Our API provides a ready-made CSR vehicle. It is particularly suited to SME’s who don’t have one and think they can’t afford one as it is free and easy to add. It gives your customers something worthwhile to be involved with … easily.


In your field, what exciting developments will 2012 bring?

The constant development of new and innovative ways to talk and interact with our customers, as we provide them a vast range of tools and services, including scholarships, safety advice, language guides and travel insurance services.
