Getting there
Adelaide’s international airport is a convenient 6km from the city centre. The regular JetBus services take about 30 minutes.
Adelaide Parklands Terminal, to the west of the city, is the terminus for both the Ghan and Indian Pacific railways, and the main interstate train station for South Australia. Buses from the airport stop there on their way into the city centre.
Getting around
The Adelaide Metro public transport system operates a comprehensive, affordable bus network, with designated bus lanes and traffic light filters. The tram or light rail network goes further afield, notably the historic line to Glenelg, and the suburban railway lines service outlying towns.
