Domino’s recent Triffids reissues was a boon to diehards who remember the cult Perth group from their heyday, but the inconsistent songwriting, the tinpot 1980s production and David McComb’s Marmite vocals didn’t do much to sway non-believers.
This 18-track primer suffers from the same problems, but its mix of album tracks and obscurities presents the band in a decent light.
Highlights include the title track and Bury Me Deep In Love.
