Maria Shriver has appeared at the final taping of The Oprah Winfrey Show as more revelations came to light about her husband Arnold Schwarzenegger’s affair with their housekeeper.
Shriver came on stage at the United Center with Winfrey’s best friend, Gayle King and said Winfrey had given her ‘love, support, wisdom and most of all the truth.’
Shriver said she knew she wasn’t ‘alone in receiving those gifts.’
She later released a statement: “This is a painful and heartbreaking time. As a mother, my concern is for the children. I ask for compassion,respect and privacy as my children and I try to rebuild our lives and heal. I will have no further comment.”
Meanwhile website Radar named the woman who fathered the lovechild as Mildred Baena, 50 (below). Baena worked as the couple’s housekeeper for 20 years at their Brentwood, LA mansion.
According it insiders, the house had been a sanctuary for Maria from the persistent rumours about Schwarzenegger’s infidelity, but she moved into a hotel when he finally confessed to his affair in January.
About the same time Baena voluntarily left her job.
The New York Times reported that Baena was pregnant with her and Schwarzenegger’s son at the same time Shriver was pregnant with the youngest of her four children, Christopher, who is 13.
The two women would have seen eachother daily, with Baena working in the family home but living elsewhere.
It is thought Shriver was led to believe that the child was fathered by Baena’s then husband, from whom she is now divorced.
Baena’s son is said to have been an ‘occasional presence’ at the family’s home.
Website TMZ said she told friends she would have unprotected sex during the day at Schwarzenegger’s house.
Meanwhile, a former stewardess on Arnie’s private jet today denied he is the father of her son.
Tammy Tousignant, who was in her late 20s when she worked with the Terminator star, gave birth to a boy after an alleged affair in the 1990s.
But today her lawyer vehemently denied a romance and insisted that a DNA test had proved the actor turned politician is not the father of her child.
