Chelsea defender Cole, who plays alongside John Terry, took to Twitter to voice his thoughts and opinions about the FA’s finding Terry guilty of racially abusing Anton Ferdinand.
“Hahahahaa, well done #fa i lied did I, #BUNCHOFT***S” he posted on the social networking site, before later deleting it.
He has since apologised “unreservedly” for his actions, which have caused yet more problems for the under fire England boss Hodgson, and the national team even more bad press.
“I had just finished training andsa the captions on the TV screens in the treatment rooms about what was said in the FA commission ruling about me,” a statement issued by Cole said.
“I was really upset and tweeted nmy feelings in the heat of the moment. I apologise unreservedly for my comment about the FA.”
Terry was banned for four matches and fined £220,000 for his guilty verdict, equal to a week’s wages.
