We’re spotted some rough bridesmaids in our time, but when an Aussie couple got married at the weekend, their chosen maid of honour took the biscuit for bridesmaid-you’d-least-like-to-snog.
Gilly Richardson and John Hughes, from Victoria, decided to bestow the dubious honour on their pet kangaroo and were married in front of 80 surprised guests on Saturday with the Roo in attendance.
Before you laugh though, the kangaroo bridesmaid was adopted after the bride and groom found her on a dirt track next to her dead mother in rural Deans Marsh.
