Appearing in court in Hobart, the unidentified 28-year-old woman, who’d been in a relationship with the father of the teenager for 11 years, pleaded guilty to five counts of sex with an under-aged boy in 2012.
The woman told the Tasmanian court that she was “ashamed and embarrassed” and didn’t realise the age of consent was 17, not 16.
A court prosecuter said that ‘the pair had previously had a strained relationship, tickling led to kissing and then to intercourse,’ according to The Hobart Mercury.
The dad left a video camera recording in the his kitchen to try and capture evidence of a ghost haunting the house, but reportedly forgot to turn it off. He then checked the camera footage when he returned from work and saw his partner and son canoodling.
The woman will be sentenced next week.
