The Celebrity Apprentice contestant who previously won the international Miss Teen contest, said she planned retiring from her brief but decorated boxing career after her fight against Nadine Brown.

But having won a unanimous points decision after  a convincing display, she’s vowed to give it another crack.

“Boxing’s not great for females, let’s face it, and I’ve got a lot of other commitments,” Eagle said after the fight.

“I said this was going to be my last fight, but winning is a pretty good feeling so this is not the last time I’ll be in the ring.

“I’m pretty sure I have to defend the title now.”

No punches were pulled over the eight two-minute rounds but Eagle landed more and more accurate punches to take her professional record to 6-3-1 (3KO).

While the match-up was as fierce and entertaining as any men’s bout, one incident will leave it remembered for the wrong reasons – when Brown got her hair caught in her bra strap and Eagle helped stop her top from coming off while the referee removed it.

After the fight, Eagle also unveiled a desire to compete at the Rio Olympics, where Sevens Rugby will be a sport for the first time.

“It’s funny because I said to myself, ‘Lauren put in 100 per cent this is your last one, get out of the sport,”’ Eagle said after her win.

“I’ll play it by ear. I’ve got a lot of other opportunities that have arisen outside boxing, so I have to weight them up.”

“I want to even maybe try and go in the Olympics. I was looking at the rugby sevens, because they are looking for a team.”
