Gable Tostee was charged after Warriena Wright fell from his apartment balcony on the Gold Coast back in August 2014.
Prosecutors argued that she tried to escape by climbing over the balcony, but fell to her death.
After four days of debate, the jury found him not guilty of both the charge of murder and manslaughter.
Tostee’s defence lawyer said that his client was “relieved this matter is now behind him and he’s looking forward to moving on with his life.”
