The ever popular Balham Food Festival returns at the end of September after a three year absence following the completion of a £2m facelift to central Balham.
Located in the recently transformed Hildreth Street and Bedford Hill Place, the festival will play host to some 25 stalls and pop-up restaurants demonstrating the diversity of Balham’s food and drink culture. It will kick off with The Balham Banquet on Sunday 27 September, followed by a week of foodie events and offers.
The Balham Banquet will take place from 11am with delicious street food, live music, cookery demonstrations by professional chefs, such as Jimmy Garcia from This Morning and The Dessert Deli Laura Amos, along with children’s entertainment, such as face-painting, art lessons, and gingerbread making classes with Deelight Bakery.
The Festival continues until 4 October, with a wide range festival offers, special events and promotions available across Balham’s internationally flavoured eating and drinking scene, including in-store tastings, festival menus and discounts galore.
