The South, the Midlands and the North are set to get hit with up to 15 hours of rain, and as if that wasn’t bad enough, temperatures will probably plummet to 16C.

Just in case you were wondering, that’s got the potential to break the record for the coldest August Bank Holiday ever. Yikes.

A wet and windy Bank Holiday for most parts as rain, heavy at times, spreads east with blustery showers following in the southwest. However, Scotland remaining mainly dry and bright.’

Let’s hope that you all enjoy a lie-in, board games and staring glumly out of the window. So much for one last summer BBQ…
