The Gold Coast Bulletin reported that Dingo was among a small but hardy group of big-wave surfers who tackled the biggest waves he had “ever surfed in Australia”.
“It was insane,” he said. “The waves were probably 25ft and the biggest I’ve ever surfed in Australia, for sure. We heard the swell was coming and monitored it to see if would stay strong. It did, and we bolted over there.
“The only bummer was we couldn’t get a beer to celebrate the session because it was Good Friday.”
Morrison and his mates surfed a spot known as The Right, off WA’s south coast.
