Bilbao BBK Live festival has announced that Keane, The View, James Murphy, Pat Mahoney, We are Augustines, Awolnation and The Black Belles have all been added to the line-up of the event, due to take place from the 12th to 14th July in the northern Spanish city of Bilbao.

Having already confirmed headliners The Cure and Radiohead plus performances from the likes of Mumford & Sons, Bloc Party, Snow Patrol, The Kooks, Glasvegas and Noah and the Whale amongst others, Bilbao BBK Live festival once again attracts the biggest names in music. Previous editions of the event have included headliners such as Coldplay, Pearl Jam, Depeche Mode, Jane’s Addiction, RHCP and Suede.

Three day tickets to the festival, including camping, are available for just £88. Tickets for Thursday and Friday are available for £46 booking fee. Tickets for Saturday will be on sale from Thursday the 26th April for £42 booking fee.

An extra stage has been added for the 2012 edition and 20 extra bands.

Bilbao BBK Live festival is held on top of a hill surrounded by mountains offering spectacular views over the city of Bilbao. The privileged location of the site, its proximity to the city and beach, and a late start of bands, allows festival goers to make the most of the experience. Bilbao, a modern city famous for its architecture, museums and gastronomy, is just a stone’s throw away from the beach and some of the best waves in Europe.

To get there: Two low cost airlines operate direct flights from London to Bilbao. Check Easyjet (from Stansted) and Vueling (from Heathrow).  Easyjet operates direct flights from Manchester to Bilbao through the summer.

Ryanair operates daily flights to Santander, just an hour bus ride to Bilbao.

From Bilbao airport there are regular public buses to central Bilbao. Once in central Bilbao the festival provides shuttle buses to the site.

Age Restrictions: Under 18-s will have to be accompanied by an adult.
