It’s Electric
Adjacent to one of the oldest cinemas in London, Electric Diner last week opened its doors on Portobello Road.
Serving French-American cuisine, the restaurant, downstairs from the Electric House, opens for breakfast at 8am, swaps for lunch at midday and closes at 1am on weekends.
Chow down on bologna sandwiches, honey-fried chicken and toffee date cake.
Then make your choice from the incredibly impressive 19 beers on offer.
Xmas Foodie Market
Wares from some of London’s top restaurants will be on offer at a Christmas market in St James’s Park.
Mrs Tee’s Wild Mushrooms, Greg The Pumpkin Man and Celtic Fish & Game will all have goodies on offer, while Peyton & Byrne will be selling mince pie fudge and meringue snowmen.
If you like your grub, this event, on December 16 at Inn The Park, is a must.
Head there between 11.30am and 3.30pm, grab a hot chocolate and get your Christmas gifts sorted.
Posh Soho Kebab
If you’ve got the munchies after a few beers, make sure you eat in style rather than grabbing a grubby burger.
Cinnamon Soho has launched The Kingly Seekh-Kebab – a gourmet spin on the takeaway food of choice.
Available from its west London eatery until 1am, the snack is spiced with cumin, coriander, ginger and chilli, wrapped in naan bread – a great pick-me-up to keep you going.
Priced at £6.75, it won’t break the bank, either.
