Mirco Della Vecchia spent 30 days sculpting the edible replica of the Pope with a team of student workers.
To make the giant statue, Mr Della Vecchia used 1.5 tonnes of cocoa and he has donated another 1.5 tonnes of chocolate to the Catholic charity, Caritas.
