Celebrate Burns Night in London with a wee dram and traditional Scottish fare.
Held since the 1800s on January 25, it’s a celebration of the life and work of poet Robert Burns.
Geronimo Inns – which have branches across the capital – will be offering traditional treats such as haggis, hot toddies, whisky tastings as well as entertainment, including bagpipes.

In a nod to all-things ‘new year, new you’, Shaka Zulu has launched a Feel Good bar menu with Baobab.
Drinks on offer will include a natural supplement taken from the African ‘tree of life’, said to boost the immune system and energy levels.
Sip on a Bao-Bab with Courvoisier, chambord, port and tea.
Or, if try the booze-free Bao-Bab with apple and pineapple juices, cardomon, warm pear puree and Baobab.

All-you-can-eat sushi
Posh pan-Asian Gilgamesh in Camden is introducing an unlimited sushi menu every Thursday.
There will be 10 dishes available on the menu, which guests can order from as many times as they wish.
If you’re kick-starting 2013 with a detox, you can tuck into this healthy meal without guilt.
At £30pp, chow down on delights such as a ‘Mr Chang’ prawn roll, eel and white truffle egg rolls, crispy rice sashimi, and spicy tuna ‘dynamite’ nigiri. Yum!
