The scene: A massive venue with a huge heated terrace. Located in the centre of London, it’s perfect for a big night out. There’s a vibrant, cocktail bar downstairs and staff are professional and attentive without being annoying. This place is class.

The grub: A top-notch menu. I start with king prawns char-grilled with garlic butter, which are succulent and tasty. My date opts for the crayfish and guacamole salad with creme fraiche, which has her tastebuds performing backflips of delight.

We both choose the 200g centre-cut British beef fillet, aged for 28 days. It’s clear the chef knows his way round a steak. Both are cooked to perfection and served with a tasty salad and a side of crispy fries. It’s an extremely satisfying meal.

Bill please: £100 for three courses and a bottle of NZ Pinot Noir. Well worth it.

Verdict: Quality never tasted so good. Your senses will thank you, and so will your date. Go for the food and wine: stay for the cocktails.
