Cate Blanchett is getting so used to accepting awards for her standout performance in Blue Jasmine that she’s having more and more fun with her acceptance speeches.

Her latest victory came in the Screen Actors Guild Awards, adding to her Golden Globe and Critics Choice Award – next in line is the Academy Awards.

After the suggestive caress she gave her SAG, the Oscar statue, should she win, could be in for a racy night.

“Bob DeNiro, I didn’t recognise you!” the Aussie actress said as Robert DeNiro presented her gong.

After giving Matthew McConaughey a serve for the length of his speech, Blanchett continued.

“To those who voted for me thank you, and for those who didn’t better luck next year,” she said, before giving the package of the trophy a bit of a rub.

American Hustle again won the night’s top award.

Blanchett’s work in Woody Allen’s Blue Jasmine is nominated with Amy Adams (American Hustle), Sandra Bullock (Gravity), Judi Dench (Philomena) and Meryl Streep (August: Osage County).
