Brad Pitt has dished the dirt on his marriage to Jennifer Aniston saying he wasn’t “living an interesting life”.
The Hollywood star who is plugging new film Moneyball made the revelations to Parade Magazine.
He also waxed lyrical about his current partner Angelina Jolie saying one of the 'smartest things' he ever did was to make her the mother of his children.
Talking about his early fame The 47-year-old told the magazine he “spent the '90s trying to hide out, trying to duck the full celebrity cacophony.”
“I started to get sick of myself sitting on a couch, holding a joint, hiding out. It started feeling pathetic.”
“It became very clear to me that I was intent on trying to find a movie about an interesting life, but I wasn't living an interesting life myself.”
He then took a pop at his five year marriage to Aniston.
“I think that my marriage had something to do with it. Trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn't.”
Pitt hooked up with Jolie in 2005 on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith. The star claims to be over the moon with the mother of his six kids.
“One of the greatest, smartest things I ever did was give my kids Angie as their mom,” he gushed. “She is such a great mom. Oh, man, I’m so happy to have her.”
“I put much more emphasis on being a satisfied man. I’m satisfied with making true choices and finding the woman I love, Angie, and building a family that I love so much.”
