Englishman John Rowley was merrily driving through the leafy Herefordshire countryside when he spotted a famous face out of the corner of his eye. It turned out to be none other than Elvis Presley, the king of rock’n’roll, looking decidedly less chubby, if somewhat greener, then when he was last seen.
“I was just driving along one day and it stuck out like a sore thumb,” Rowley told SWNS. “I’m not much of an Elvis fan, but I just noticed that unique quiff straight away and said, ‘That tree looks like Elvis.'”
According to science, the brains of human beings are hard-wired to recognise patterns. That might be why so many people keep seeing Jesus’ beardy little face in their taco or pizza.
Whether or not you think this particular tree actually looks like Elvis Presley, before he ballooned out to about 800 stone and started doing dinner shows in Las Vegas, doesn’t really matter. I’m well aware that this isn’t news worthy, but it’s Friday morning and this, for whatever reason, is my job.
Now, let’s hear from the man himself.
