They were arrested for intentional insult with intent to provoke a breach of the peace and public indecency, after Australian Daniel Ricciardo’s race win on Sunday.
After four nights in custody they were cautioned by Sepang Magistrates Court and released.
The Judge was keen to point out that irrespective of their purpose the men had insulted Malaysia by revealing the country’s national flag on their swimwear.
They left court shortly after without conviction.
