In honour of traditions past, and her favourite dessert, Sexy Sylvia, ruler of the Ma’ Plucker roost is inviting guests to create their perfect Sundaes on Sunday, every Sunday, from this week onwards. Guests will be provided with Sundae glasses, vanilla ice cream, cream, and a selection of suitably sweet sundae toppings, and delightful decorations, including; mini marshmallows, popcorn, jelly beans, Oreos, hundreds and thousands, and of course some sexy, soulful and smooth, Sundae sauce…
Originally from the USA, The Sundae, is a sweet ice cream dessert. It typically consists of one or more scoops of ice cream topped with sauce or syrup, and in some cases other naughty treats and toppings. Though there are several contested versions of who it is, that can be crowned with the title of creating this delicious dessert – there is one thing that all of the Sundae stories have in common – the Sundae was created on a Sunday!
For those that create the most picture perfect of puddings, and post proof on Instagram, @MaPlucker, with the hashtags #SylviasSundaeSunday there will even be the chance to win a prize.
Fear not, if you are feeling less creative, and a bit featherbrained from Saturday, there will also be two of Sexy Sylvia’s signature Sundaes available to order from the main menu. These will include Ma’s ‘Sweet ‘n’ Salty Sundae’, and the ‘Cornflake and Caramel Sundae’.
