“It’s always been difficult to share the energy and emotion that goes into writing a new album,” said frontman Thomas Busby. “Jeremy and I really wanted to play a run of intimate shows to showcase that process and share the new tunes. We’re looking forward to it; it’s going to be rewarding and special for us and our fans.”
Busby Marou released their debut self-titled album in 2011, including the emotive first single Biding My Time, though most of the Australian music community were first introduced to Thomas and Jeremy Busby with their inclusion on the incredibly successful Finn tribute album He Will Have His Way. After scoring high rotation slots from Triple J and NOVA, Busby Marou’s debut self-titled album reached #24 on the ARIA album charts and #5 on the Australian artist charts.
