Originally from Portugal, Rui de Oliveira, 49, now lives near Maidenhead in Berkshire and is the manager of Pinnacle Crew Ltd, which is based in Reading. Here’s how he landed his job.
What does your job entail? I am responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company, as well as recruitment and training all the crew. I also liaise with clients regarding their requirements and make sure we are prepared to meet them.
What’s the best bit? Meeting all the clients’ requirements and having feedback from the client saying that they were totally satisfied with the service we provided.
And the worst? Not meeting a client’s requirement; it’s very frustrating.
How did you get your job? By working hard and showing my dedication and commitment.
What qualifications/experience do you need? You need to be comfortable managing people and dealing with clients.
What advice would you give someone who would like a job such as yours? You must care about your job and realise that it is important to do it well and be committed to it.
