If you’re looking to put a bit more fizz into your summer, consider enrolling at one of their cava masterclasses, held on alternate Thursdays throughout August and September. The Fizz School will explore the full Anna de Codorníu range — a combination of traditional Catalan, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes — and take place at the Doubletree by Hilton London Docklands Riverside. The classes, during which guests will enjoy four distinctive glasses of Anna de Cordoníu cava and a selection of tapas, will be held on the hotel’s gorgeous sun-drenched terrace overlooking the Thames.

Established in Barcelona in 1551, Codorníu is Europe’s largest privately-owned wine estate, and Spain’s oldest family-run business. It was the first Spanish company to produce sparkling wine using the traditional method with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, making sixty million bottles across the full range annually.

Places on these classes are strictly limited so early booking is essential.
