The new findings from the World Youth Student and Educational (WYSE) Travel Confederation’s ‘Festivals and the Millennial Traveller’ report unsurprising finds that festival-goers’ top preferences for a great experience are cheap food and drink, big performing acts and (they’ll be lucky) clean toilets.

The most favoured locations for a festival were reported to be ‘close to a big city’ or ‘in the mountains’. The report also reveals that almost a third of those questioned spent EUR 100 – EUR 200 on a festival while more than one in five admitted that they parted with up to EUR 500.

The peak age group for festival spending was 26 – 29.
