Cheryl and Ashley Cole were granted a divorce today on the grounds of Ashley’s admitted unreasonable behaviour.
The Coles separated in February after a spate of allegations about Ashley’s cheating. Cheryl and Ashley had been married for four years.
Neither of the Coles was present at the hearing today and their names were part of a list of ‘quickie divorces’ being processed in one hearing. The divorce was granted in just one minute.
Reportedly, Cheryl, who is currently in LA, is entitled to £4.5million after the pair sell their assets and property portfolio.
Of her divorce, Cheryl said: “Thank God the nightmare is over”.
Ashley Cole, is playing for England in tonight’s Euro 2012 qualifying match against Bulgaria.
