Cheryl Cole spent the night with her cheating ex-husband Ashley.
The former X Factor judge stayed over at his home – which she used to share with the footballer – in Godalming, Surrey.
A source told the News Of The World: "They were saying what a special night it was. They were mucking about like old times just playing pool, smoking and having a few drinks."
Ashley had a string of affairs during the couple's marriage, but it is believed that Cheryl fell back into his arms because she felt lonely and depressed after being ditched from US X Factor.
But the source said that the pair did not share a bed.

Ashley is currently on holiday with friends in Los Angeles, while Cheryl is living at a rented house in North London.
But the source said Ashley might cut his holiday short to see Cheryl.
"Cheryl told him she needs him and that she wants him to come back early and he's agreed."
