Cheryl Cole could be a judge on the next series of Britain's Got Talent.
The news comes as it has emerged that her cameo appearance in Cameron Diaz's latest Hollywood movie What to Expect When You're Expecting may be slashed.
The last series of Britain's Got Talent, which had David Hasselhoff and Michael McIntyre on the judging panel, did not have impressive ratings.
Cheryl was going to be a judge on the first series of BGT but she pulled out at the last minute and was replaced by Amanda Holden.
Simon Cowell could install Cheryl Cole as a judge in a bid to revitalise the show.
He told the Sun: "Cheryl on BGT? That's not a bad idea. That was the first show she was offered.
"She had cold feet with two days to go – that's how we got Amanda Holden on the show.'
The job offer might come at a good time as her recently filmed scenes from Diaz's movie may be cut. In the film, Cole plays a tiny role as a talent judge.

A source told Heat Magazine: "Cheryl's role means she has to give judgment on Cameron's performance. She only says: "Um, no." But there's talk that even that could be cut.
"It's not that integral to the film, although everyone said she did a great job."
