The invitation came from her manager and The Voice’s new coach, Will.i.am, who is currently negotiating a deal with the BBC.
The 36-year-old Black Eyed Peas star said: “It depends on whether she would like to do it.”
Price Tag singer Jessie J and Script star Danny O Donoghue will also be coaching on The Voice.
The 23-year-old star has vowed not to let the hopefuls get tripped up by the same pitfalls of fame as her.
She said: “That’s what I needed – someone like me to help me when I was going through it.
“To understand how paps will lie on the floor to try and get pictures up your skirt and that people will try and get you to say things that you don’t want to say.”
Will.i.am is also reported to be in talks for Cheryl to host a new chat show for the BBC, which would pay her £750,000.
A-list guests are said to be lined up for the show, including Rihanna and Justin Bieber.
