Chicago in 2-3 days
Day 1
On arrival in Chicago, head to the centre of town and take a stroll along the Magnificent Mile.
Once you cross the Hudson River you will come to the Millennium Park, where you can visit the ampitheatre designed by Frank Gehry, and marvel at the Cloud Gate — nicknamed the Giant Bean by locals because of its similarity to the iconic Tiffany & Co bean.
Finish up the day by rising to the top of the Sears Tower for a skyline view of the city and Lake Michigan.
Day 2
Head out to the iconic Wrigley Field, home to Chicago Cubs who continually under- perform but still draw in their loyal fans.
In the afternoon check out boutique stores in the trendy north west of Chicago district called Bucktown or Wicker Park.
It’s a great spot to pick up local designer clothes and jewellery, and enjoy the café culture.
Day 3
If you’re after a bargain, take a drive to the Chicago Outlet Centre which offers massive discounts on labels including Calvin Klein and Diesel.
Back in the city, take a walking architecture tour of sculptures that are found on street corners and in parks.
Top the day off with dinner and drinks at the top of the John Hancock Center.
