Christmas Jumper Day Silent Disco Party – Dec 12
Friday December 12 is national Christmas Jumper day for those who don’t know – check out #xmasjumperday for info on all the events going on across town. Our pick of the bunch to get in the Christmas spirit in more ways than one is this Silent Disco at Boxpark in Shoreditch. There will be glittery disco balls alongside all the festive and disco hits you can think of, and it is in association with Save The Children charity so all your donations go to a fantastic cause. So wear your best – or hopefully worst – woolly jumper, get your dancing shoes on and donate to raise money for #SaveTheChildren.

SS Atlantica Winter Voyage – 29 November
Get your Christmas partying off to an early start this weekend as the SS Atlantica, a magnificent silver sturgeon, arrives in town for one night only of opulence on board the 1930s-themed ocean liner that harks back to when cruise sailing was the ultimate height of travel indulgence.
There’ll be live performances from London’s very finest musical acts, black jack tables, and a selection of delectable cocktails from Bourne & Hollingsworthe. So dress smart, soak up the luxurious atmosphere and the sights of London in a lavish trip to the past and back.

Nordic Yulefest – Dec 6-7, 13-14 & 20-21
It’s a traditional Christmas fare, only the traditional Christmas of those Nordic folk, not the Brits nor the Londoners. So rather than Brussel sprouts and Christmas cake, think Gravadlax and ham and cinnamon buns all ready to be washed down by chocolate cocktails in a birch tree fairyland featuring Tomte (Father Christmas to you and me).

Where: 2nd Floor, 1 Kingsland Road, E2 8AA

Woodlandia at WigWamBam – to Mar, 2015
The Queen of Hoxton in east London has unveiled its startling rooftop wigwam Woodlandia this year that is inspired by the wintery woodlands and wild outdoors of the UK. There will be all kinds of lovely grub and drinks to tuck into while you admire the wonderful little haven nestled under the stars – drinks wise we recommend the hot buttered rum (£6) and egg snog (£7), which is the classic yuletide treat with added Monkey Shoulder whisky and as for the food , you can’t go wrong with the five-bean flame finished jacket potato to warm you of a chilly evening. Yum!
When: Daily, till Mar 2015
Where: Queen of Hoxton, EC2A 3JX
Cost: Entry is Free
Tube: Shoreditch High Street
