The Insanity Workout programme is gaining notoriety worldwide, both for its dramatic weight-loss results and for its terrifying intensity.

The rumours are true; this workout really lives up to its insane name. Instructor Tanya keeps the class on their toes (and just about every other body part) throughout this high-energy, high-intensity class.

The workout uses max interval training, keeping you going for three to five minutes of hard exercise and only allowing for very brief breathing breaks before throwing you right back into it. It’s the same technique used by Olympian athletes to maximise speed and strength.
