A true electronic legend, Moritz von Oswald, half of both Basic Channel and Maurizio, is one of the most influential producers of techno music in the 1990s and single handedly laid down a blueprint for dub techno that remains to this day.
Germany’s Larse is also hot property. His releases on Noir, Dikso Records and True Romance have carved out his own sonic niche – on that is influenced by disco but couched in deep house music and one that showcases a proud production technique. His Karoo track also got used on Maya Jane Coles’ DJ Kicks in 2012 and as a DJ Larse is versatile and democratic in his selections.
London’s Mark Henning has risen up as one of the underground’s true players by recording for a volley of international house and techno labels. Since quitting his city job in 2007 he’s been nominated for a DJ Mag award, toured all over the world, released an album and countless well-received and heavily supported EPs and remixes.
