Fruit is what it’s all about in Colombia. Supermarkets and street stalls sell a bewildering variety of familiar and not-so-familiar fruits, from the soft and squishy to ones you’ll need a sharp knife to get into.
Water
Tap water is safe to drink in Bogota and Medellin. But outside these big cities it’s best to drink bottled water.
