Occupation Records released the song and video, which has a montage of Occupy protesters in it.
The track – Decline of English Murder – is a solemn offering sung in a cockney accent. The killer in the song is metaphorical for those who oppose the Occupy movement.
Occupation Records have also worked with big names such as Radiohead’s Thom Yorke as well as Massive Attack.
In the song the lyrics say: “Your average psychopath at least kills with a hammer or brick / And not with greed and incompetence / And after two or three years maybe they’ll express remorse.”
His view strongly differs from his peer Frank Miller, the mastermind behind Batman movie Dark Night Returns. He said the Occupy protest was “nothing but a pack of louts, thieves, and rapists,” reported The Guardian.
