The X Factor may be on its last legs after Simon Cowell let it slip that this may be his last series.
Cowell has revealed that he hasn’t signed a contact for next year with either The X Factor or Britain’s Got talent a he want to concentrate on the US versions of the shows.
X Factor judge Cowell told The Sun:
“At the moment you are going to see me doing one show next year – and not one in England.
“I have a contract for this year and that is it.”
“It will have to move. Do people want it back?”
“I am going to sit it out for a few more weeks before I make a final decision. And it has to be fun. The minute it stops being fun, bye bye.
“I may wait till the end of this show to decide, exactly. Look, at the end of the day you are led by your audience, if they are enthusiastic and they want more, you do it.”
The X Factor has had some negative feedback recently after it was reveled that the show is digitally altering contestants’ voices.
It has also been labeled exploitative for broadcasting a punch up between two X Factor hopefuls at the weekend.
