A former flame of Real Madrid's Christiano Ronaldo has become embroiled in the Silvio Berlusconi 'bunga bunga' invstigations.

Letizia Filippi, who briefly hooked up with the football superstar three years ago, is among eight people under formal investigation by prosecutors for finding girls to attend parties held by the 74-year-old Italian leader.

Conversations between the former Miss Italy contestant, 34, and businessman Gianpaolo Tarantini have been intercepted in which they discuss the women, many of whom who were her friends or showbiz contacts.

Fillipi was also a regular guest of Berlusconi’s at

the parties and prosecutors allege that, as well as hiring women, she

was also paid to spend the night at the politician’s home.

The model, who has just given birth, denied the charges.

"I know some of the women and I know Tarantini. I went to a dinner with Berlusconi once but that’s it," Ms Filippi said.

Tarantini is alleged to have provided money for the women's services, while Berlusconi – who is facing four unrelated trials – is alleged to have lavished jewellery, money and TV gigs upon them.

In one wiretap, the prime minister is said to have told Tarantini of his rampant sexual appetites: "There was a queue outside my door.

"There was 11, I had eight because I couldn’t go any further.

"You can’t do all of them."
