Getting There
Air
The Czech Republic’s main airport is in Prague, which is well served by international flights both from Eastern and Western Europe and Turkey.
Train
You can also arrive in the Czech Republic by train — a relatively simple mode of transport as both Prague and Brno are on the main train lines from Berlin, Dresden, Bratislava, Budapest and Vienna.
Getting Around
Buses are often cheaper and faster for getting around the Czech Republic although train services are also efficient and relatively far-reaching.
Hiring a car is possible and foreign licences are valid for up to 90 days. An international drivers permit could make things easier, but aren’t always necessary.
