A daring pair of dancers performed the waltz on a vertical stage in Trafalgar Square today.

The couple – dressed in white – were hooked up to harnesses and twirling away on a temporary wall nearly 70 feet above Trafalgar Square.

The spectacle was part of the Vienna from a Different Angle event, taking place all day in Central London.

The acrobatics show will be repeated later today at 3.30pm, 5.30pm and 7pm.

In between shows, until 8.30pm tonight, the public will be challenged to walk down the wall, face first.

All the action is happening under the supervision of trained safety pros, led by Jochen Schweizer, a daredevil who holds the record for the world’s highest bungee jump.
