The Eighties icon will be joined by the likes of singer Chesney Hawkes, freerunning founder Sebastien Foucan, actress Jennifer Ellison, and the Sugarbabes’ Heidi Range.
“It’s great now that we’re at Elstree more and we keep bumping into everyone,” Range says of the group’s training and preparation for the show. “It’s like a little gang now and I’m enjoying getting to know everyone.”
The contestants for this year’s show include Dallas actress Charlene Tilton, soap stars Matthew Wolfenden (Emmerdale), Jorgie Porter (Hollyoaks), Laila Morse (Eastenders) and Andy Whyment (Coronation Street), fitness guru Rosemary Conley, children’s TV presenters Sam Nixon and Mark Rhodes, TV presenter Andy Akinwolere and British skier Chemmy Alcott.
The judges for this year’s show will be former Olympic champion figure skater Katarina Witt and choreographer Louie Spence, who take over from Jason Gardiner and Emma Bunton, with Daybreak flop Christine Bleakley, who replaces Holly Willoughby, presenting alongside Philip Schofield.
The seventh series of the ITV show begins this Sunday, Jan 8, at 6.30pm.
