The said the sale of the planes is “good news for the UK aerospace industry,” commenting that he expects the sale not only to secure jobs in Bristol and Broughton but that he hopes it will also give other British companies involved in the £1.5bn supply chain the chance to secure other contracts as well. 



The deal has been announced at part of Mr Cameron’s 24hour ‘flying visit’ to Indonesia intended to boost trade and investment.
