The island off the coast of Queensland is being sold by current owner Vaughan Bullivant, who purchased it in 2000.

It’s currently used as a luxury tourist resort and features a 296-room luxury hotel and spa, plus the world’s biggest man-made coral lagoon.

“I’m 65 now and looking to at some stage put my feet up and enjoy doing other things in life including more travel and spending time with my family, which has long been my goal,” said Bullivant.

According to Queensland’s Daily Mercury,  ‘will only sell the island to a buyer who guarantees island staff will continue to be employed’.
