The toddler was pronounced dead last Friday in Zamboanga del Sur, in the Philippines.
During the service on Saturday, the girl began to move, and her family made attempts to revive her and give her water. It is not known which condition had reportedly ‘killed’ her.
Speaking to The Philippine Star, Senior Inspector Heidil Teelan confirmed that the girl had been suffering with a serious fever when she had attended the clinic.
“The attending clinic personnel and physician confirmed that the young patient had no more pulse and was clinically dead last Saturday morning about 9am,” he said to the newspaper.
