Despicable Me

Brilliant vocal work from Steve Carell elevates this animated feature – about a criminal mastermind who uses orphan girls as pawns in his evil scheme – into something special. It lacks the depth of Pixar offerings but the cute animation will keep the kids laughing and stop adults counting the minutes until the credits.
