Taking place from 5pm at the Magic Roundabout, Old Street Station, on Thursday 3 December, the event offers a spin on the traditional Christmas market and will showcase the range of entertaining hosts and activities Londoners can experience through the Funzing website.
The event will allow members of the public to discover, experience and create for free, with twelve different activities and workshops organised and managed by Funzing hosts.
The event boasts Sushi making (and tasting!), a cake baking workshop, make your own toffee apples (with optional boozy twist) as well as Saki and tea tasting alongside a workshop to make your own beauty products.
If that’s not to your fancy then you can learn how to perfect the Djibouti hula-hoop technique or how to make jewellery, try your hand at graffiti and pottery, design and make your own textile print and even take part in a painting master class.
All of these experiences will be accompanied by festive food trucks, cocktails and a DJ to help spread the Christmas cheer in East London.
Funzing offers individuals a platform where they can share their hobbies, passions and skills with others, helping individuals and small businesses to generate extra income. Free for users and hosts to register it gives members of the public the opportunity to find experiences and activities a little out of the ordinary.
Ahead of the event, Yaron Saghiv, CMO at Funzing, said: “Being a platform solely accessible online, we wanted to bring the Funzing offering to life through an interactive event.
“With the festive period approaching and Christmas markets popping up all over London, we wanted to offer members of the public something different to showcase some of Funzing’s special hosts and welcome others to join the Funzing community.”
